Freedom From Smoking - New Dates and Times

posted Jan 30, 2012, 7:07 AM by Wendy Payson
The new year is approaching, a time when many of us resolve to make positive changes, take better care of ourselves or set goals for personal change in the year ahead.  Beginning this January, 2012, ServiceNet will offer a ***FREE*** group, open to any employee who wants to stop smoking cigarettes. The curriculum for this group was developed by the American Lung Association, and the group will be facilitated by A.L.A. certified trainers from ServiceNet’s Human Resources department. Note to participants: your “Quit Day” does not happen until the 4th week of group, and participants are eligible for an additional benefit, per ServiceNet’s Smoke Free Workplace Policy: An annual $100 reimbursement will be given towards Nicotine Replacement Therapy and other medications which aid smoking cessation, which includes the Nicotine Patch, Nicotine Gum, Nicotine Lozenge, Nicotine Inhaler, Chantix, and Zyban (Wellbutrin).

When: Mondays at 12:15, February 6 - March 19.

Where: ServiceNet Human Resources department, 296 Nonotuck Street, Florence, MA

If you plan to attend please RSVP to epetegorsky@servicenet.org.  If you have questions please call or email Elizabeth Petegorsky, at 413-387-1107 or epetegorsky@servicenet.org. If you would like to attend a Freedom from Smoking group but cannot attend this one due to its time and/or location, please let us know and we will do our best to provide you with a group that meets your needs
